Our 2024 Highlights:

  • Residential Retreats: 11 retreats have provided sanctuary for practitioners to immerse themselves in teachings and practice.
  • Toronto Daylongs: We held two inaugural gatherings in Toronto by graduates of our teacher mentorship program, fostering a sense of community and shared practice.
  • Financial Assistance: 71 individuals attended our programs thanks to your generosity, removing financial barriers.
  • Online Programs: With 2 urban retreats in English and 2 online courses in French, we broadened access to mindfulness for diverse audiences.

 
Organization and the communities we serve beyond our core programs:

Earth Day Offerings:

  • Hosted 14 special events across Ontario and Quebec.
  • Led by TNI teachers, community leaders, and volunteers.
  • Celebrated mindfulness and our connection to the Earth.

Prison Program:

  • TNI volunteers visit a local prison twice a month.
  • Share meditation and mindfulness practices with incarcerated individuals.
  • Witnessing transformative impacts of mindfulness in the prison community.

Affinity Sanghas:

  • BIPOC Sangha:
    • 226 contacts on the mailing list.
    • 15-20 meditators meet weekly for subsidized group practice.
  • Queer Sangha:
    • Over 120 participants benefit from a supportive space for LGBTQ+ practitioners.
  • Caregiver Support Program:
    • Over 100 participants engaged.

Growth and Accessibility:

  • Online sanghas mailing lists grew by 26%.
  • YouTube subscribers increased by 10%.
  • YouTube views rose by 17%.
