This session offers a gentle, accessible space to reconnect with the Earth as a source of support, belonging, and relationship.

We’ll begin with a guided somatic meditation to help settle the nervous system and attune to the body as part of the living Earth. From this place, participants will be invited into a simple, reflective writing practice: a love letter to the Earth.

No prior meditation or writing experience is needed. This is an invitation to listen, feel, and express in your own way.

Earth Day Walking Meditation, with Elisabeth Schramm & Jill Davey

Please reach out to Elisabeth or Jill to register, and with any questions.

elisaschramm @ gmail.com
ijilldavey @ gmail.com

We'll meet at St. Brigid's Villa. After a grounding introduction and intention setting, we will share some brief walking meditation instructions,
before we practice in silence together. We will closed with shared reflections.

Aware of our interconnectedness with the earth, we cannot help but care for our home. The ground beneath our feet & the surrounding atmosphere that holds & sustains us, the creatures with whom we share the earth are not separate.
Practicing outdoors we grow our awareness of how we breathe with rhythms of the earth.

Please dress appropriately for outdoor practice and slow, mindful walking.
We’ll share a snack and tea together as we end our practice.

Learn why building relations with earth while we are alive serves not only earth through mindful ecology, but serves humanity individually and collectively by supporting us in accepting sickness, aging and death, as part of the law of impermanence.
