In the Heart of Summer: Silence, Wisdom, and Compassion — A Mindfulness Retreat

Teacher
Roxanne Dault

When
August 12 - 15, 2027

Where
Galilee Centre, Arnprior, ON

In the middle of the summer, as nature’s vitality unfolds fully, this retreat invites us to pause, slow down, and reconnect with the simplicity of the present moment. In silence and with the support of a community of practitioners, we will take time to look inward at our experience with curiosity, gentleness, and discernment.

Through practice and Dhamma teachings, we will explore the foundations of mindfulness and the qualities of the heart that foster a free and balanced mind. Participants will receive practical guidance for integrating practice into daily life, develop a kinder relationship with themselves and the world, and deepen their understanding of the present moment as a path to freedom and awakening.

Guided meditations, instructions, and opportunities to ask questions and discuss practice with the teacher in group meetings and individually, upon request, make this retreat accessible to both beginners and experienced meditators.

This retreat is taught in French.
