Au tournant du coeur
Sutton, QC

This retreat will let consider the different aspects of time that condition our existence. There is physical time, that of the clock, which can keep us forever captive, and psychological time, that of duration, which when well understood can lead us to liberation.

Through different meditation approaches, we will familiarize ourselves with this inner world, thereby opening the doors to new dimensions of existence, while keeping and developing the pragmatic aspect required by modernity. This course will unfold in parallel with Buddhist teachings, updated in the actual context.

Among the main themes of this retreat, we will address the practice of benevolence (metta) and will do an overview of the causal chain (paticca samuppada).

Retreat participants are requested to keep the 8 monastic precepts, which include not eating after lunch (unless you have a health condition, in which case you will be able to eat after lunch - please inform us upon registering).

This retreat is taught in French.
