During this four-night residential retreat, we’ll practice with three specific exercises fundamental to the first establishment of mindfulness: anatomical parts, elements, and cemetery contemplations. Practicing with the first establishment will support us in cultivating mindfulness while also laying the foundation for liberative insight into the nature of the body. Each day will consist of guided meditations, periods of sitting and walking, brahma vihara practice, and an evening dharma talk.

This retreat is taught in English.
